Charlotte Paley (she/her) was a senior in Currier House studying Psychology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. For her senior thesis under Nathan's mentorship, she examined the biopsychosocial effects of weight-based discrimination, focusing on the biological, psychological, and social mechanisms through which stigma contributes to eating pathology, anxiety, and depression. She is also interested in how stigma manifests physiologically to produce measurable outcomes in the body, such as inflammation.
